50th Anniversary & Aeroboot

On behalf of the museum trustees we would like to send out very big thank you the following: all the visiting exhibition & displays their friends and families; the Aeroboot stall holders; the museum staff working away in the café & bacon buttie stall; shop; all around the site/grounds; PLUS our dedicated team of museum guides, cockpit openers and volunteers who helped during the build-up, during and after the event.
The weather held for both days and from what we gather everyone had a great time.
We were proud to host a number of special guests on both Saturday and Sunday; we would like to thank you all for turning up and engaging with everyone at them museum during this special anniversary weekend.
Another special shout-out to the Newark Community First Aid Team who were on site both days to help look after us all.
We go again in June with Cockpit-Fest 23 and another outdoor Aeroboot (sorry that we were not able to get round with any booking forms - watch you email Inboxes) and we look forward to welcoming you all back again quite soon.
