Chinook Visit – Monday 31st July 2017
A special visitor to the museum's Southfield Site on Monday 31st July provided a wonderful experience for our volunteers, staff and visitors.
Shortly after 1440 hours a Boeing Chinook HC6 ZK561, from 7 Squadron at RAF Odiham landed and the crew welcomed to the museum.
The reciprocal visit will be reported in detail in the next museum newsletter. The Chinook crew were provided with a brief tour of the museum and some of its aircraft, while our people were give escorted access to the Chinook.
Thanks to everyone at RAF Odiham and on 7 Squadron for making the visit possible – Lest we forget the brave personnel of our Armed Forces!
