2018 Special Event Diary

The museum has been at  the forefront of aviation preservation for more than 44 years. We always aim to provide a friendly environment where you can start to appreciate the important contribution that aviation has made to both local and national history. Each year we organise a range of special events and activities and below is an outline of what we have on offer in 2018.

1 April, 2018 – 100th Anniversary of RAF Open Cockpits Day
celebrating 100 years of the RAF with access to a host of museum aircraft

8 April, 2018 – RAF Balderton Reunion including commemorations & a book launch for this forgotten Nottinghamshire airfield

19 May, 2018 – Tribute to the V Force reunion & visiting displays  #NAMtributetoVForce2018

23 & 24 June, 2018 – Cockpit-Fest & Aeroboot
– annual gathering of aircraft cockpits & displays – plus our outdoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble aviation sale #Cockpitfest

11 & 12 August, 2018
