Copter-Fest 2019 – At A Glance (amended)
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th August, 2019

Opening Times:
(Saturday): 1000 – 1700 hours (last admission 1600 hours);
(Sunday): 1000 – 1700 hours (last admission 1600 hours); we suggest that you arrive early on Sunday as some exhibitors may start to pack up at around 1430 hours

Adults £9.00, Over 65s £8.00, Children £4.50 and Family ticket [2 adults & 3 children] £24.00 {Please consider the Gift Aid option as it raises valuable extra funds for the museum}

Open to the public both days
Please be aware - despite comments published in the Newark Advertiser this week, we do not currently have any military or civilian helicopters booked in to be flying into the event this weekend. We will of course advise if that situation changes.

Car parking:
Our main car parking for this event will along the old taxiway
(close to the car auction storage compounds), with overflow parking on our Southfield Site, which is approached along the old taxiway towards the museum and through the gate. Spaces for anyone with any Motability needs will be clearly marked. Marshals will be on hand to guide you to spaces.

Visiting displays; don’t forget to visit the displays in Hangar 1 and Hangar 2 on Sunday.

Various museum helicopters available for viewing at different time of the day; also some aircraft open for people to visit (located around the Northfield Site & Southfield Site) – a small additional charge will be made for aircraft access, or donations sought for each aircraft visited (proceeds towards the museum’s various aircraft restoration  / repainting projects.)
