Half-Term Open Cockpits Thank You
We have now come to the end of another half –term open cockpits session at the museum.
On behalf of the museum trustees we would like to send out very big thank you the following: all of the aircraft openers and volunteers who helped during the week; plus the museum staff.
A special thank you goes to all of the visitors who came along and visited us this last week. Please accept our apologies if the cockpit that you were hoping to go in wasn’t open! In particular apologies that we were unable to open anything on Wednesday 29 May & Friday 31 May; last minute cancellations by the volunteer hoping to attend - please always check in advance before you travel!
In the future rather than just relying on our volunteers we are now looking into the possibility of training museum staff as cockpit openers to help us cope in circumstances when volunteers are not available.
