2020 Remembrance Service Cancelled
Like so many other locations around the UK, we have taken the sad decision to cancel our annual Remembrance Sunday Service. This is to ensure that we comply with the current Covid Regulations
We will however be making provision for individual acts of remembrance to take place in the Memorial Garden on our Southfield Site in the run up to Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
A simple act of remembrance will also take place by museum staff and socially distanced volunteers, which we hope to film and share on our social media channels. The will commemorate all of the service personnel who are remembered on the various memorials and tributes around the museum site. More details will follow when we have the arrangements in place for this.Should people feel unable to visit to undertake an act of remembrance, donations in lieu of a formal wreath can be made towards the upkeep of our Memorial Garden via this Just Giving link
