Thank you everyone
Vulcan 40th Anniversary Weekend

Many thanks to those former Vulcan personnel that visited the museum during this weekend; those thanks also go out; to the museum volunteers for opening up the Vulcan and other museum aircraft; car parking operations; the museum organisers; our visitors; and last but by no means least the museum staff (and volunteers) for their sterling hard work in the café, museum shop and site cleaning/tidying and car parking.

A big shout out to John LeBrun for his wonderful external Vulcan tours and for Jim Vinales, for stepping up to help us with our talks. We would also like to send a big get well soon to Julian Grenfell and we look forward to welcoming you back to the museum quite soon.

As ever the museum’s own Vulcan XM594, proved to be a highlight for the visitors; as were many other of our aircraft cockpits. pre-booked attendees were able to benefit from the free access to the cockpit on both days; but equally we realise that many people of the Waiting List did not get the chance to look inside for free. We are now looking at ways that we might be able to accommodate future opportunities for those people on that list, when the event closed on Sunday 12th February 2023

Once we have decided how to proceed, we will make contact with those people on the Waiting List by email.
