It is not fair to expect our staff, volunteers or other visitors to clear up for you – especially inside our various display buildings.
Please respect this requirement or we may review this policy and potentially suspend allowing dogs to come on site. We would also respectfully remind owners that the basics of the Policy are as follows from the FAQs page of the website:
“Dogs are allowed provided they are well behaved, are kept on a short fixed lead and the owner removes any mess created. (Extendable leads no longer permitted on site).
They are also allowed in the various buildings around the site. However, visits into the Museum Café, where the space can be limited, is at the discretion of the Café staff; such access may not be permitted when multiple dogs are visiting the site.”
