CLOSED due to access problems

Yesterday (18.04.24) we were notified by our landlord that they plan to undertake some resurfacing work to various sections of the access route down to the museum, this work will take place on Monday 22nd April, 2024. It will include the wide access area off Drove Lane, the short section down towards Vulcan Way (the former runway) and the left turn along the former taxiway. Any recent visitors to the site will realise that there are several potholes in these areas.
We have evaluated one proposed access route; carefully considering the implications and risks associated with trying to operate amongst parked and manoeuvring car transporters and conclude that this will not be safe and viable. So the decision has been taken in the best interests of the visitors that we will be closed for visitors on Monday 22nd April
